INTRODUCTION

We have provided some examples of questions, even some considered as "tough" to answer by new cliients. Perhaps, reading them will assist you in formulating some of your own questions or you may find a number of questions you, currently, have among them.

These examples will also allow you to view the scope of a clinical nutrition and naturopathic practice and the answers and health improvement that can be attained through our services.

To answer some of these questions, obviously require a clinical nutrition analysis of your nutritional biochemistry, i.e., laboratory testing of blood, urine, saliva, hair, etc., dietary and/or nutritional consultation, which are provided for a fee. However, the place to start is to ask your questions and what can be answered, at no charge, will be shared on Dr. Smith's blog.

If your questions are confidential, in other words, you would not be comfortable posting your question(s) on Dr.Smith's blog, please feel free to complete the Inquiry Questionnaire and schedule a Free Inquiry Telephone Consultation to, personally and confidently, ask Dr. Smith your questions. This link will take you to the Inquiry Questionnaire.

Ask Your Toughest Questions?

STILL NOT ANSWERED

Considered as tough questions, because they had not found satisactory answers in the various books, research studies, internet searches, etc., and/or professional consultations and therapies prior to contacting Advanced Clincial Nutrition, our clients found satisfactory answers using clinical nutrition and naturopathy and now lead drug-free, healthier lives and still have the body parts originally scheduled for surgical removal. In the event, you have some of these same questions, we ask you....

  • Are there questions about your health that you have yet to find satisfactory answers, even after having thorough medical or chiropractic examination and testing, which ruled out disease or subluxation, as a cause for my symptoms?
  • Are you completely satisfied with the answers you have found? or the therapies you are using?
  • Are there health challenges that you have been told:
    • "There is no cure?" (Remember this just means drugs or surgery won't cure it) or
    • "You will have to take these drugs for the rest of your life?" or
    • "The only solution is surgery? (When one has waited too long to heal an area of the body, surgery may be needed. However, should you ask your physician if your life would be threatened if postponed surgery for at least three months and the answer is "No, you would not be at risk," you may have sufficient time to assist your body in healing itself, as this is the least amount of time required to begin healing at a cellular level through clinical nutrition to know for sure if your body can heal, or it is too late and thus surgery is required).
    • All your medical tests are normal, so it must be all in your head, i.e, caused by depression, stress, anxiety, etc.
    • After medical exams and testing, nothing was found, so you were asked to, "Come back in six months and maybe we can find the cause of your symptoms, then."
  • Looking for answers because you are not satisfied by the answer, "It's just aging!" or "It's hereditary."
  • Do you find relief from some therapies, drugs or vitamins supplements, however, after discontinuing the, your symptoms eventually resurface?
  • Are you looking for safe and effective drug-free therapies because you are experiencing more health challenges from drug side effects, than before you started, and you are concerned that the only solution seems to be taking more drugs for the side effects?
  • Why is My Cholesterol high and are there healthier alternatives to taking drugs, which adversely affect my liver, requiring me to have ongoing blood tests so my physician can monitor my liver?

ABOUT FOOD SUPPLEMENTS

Vitamins, Minerals, Herbs, Homeopathics, etc.

  • What is the criteria to evaluate safe and quality food supplements?
  • Are all vitamins the same? safe?
  • How are they manufactured? Formulated? What about the Ingredients?
  • How do you understand their labels?
  • What are homeopathics? When do you use them? What are their purpose?
  • What are herbs? Are all brands of herbs the same?
  • When would I choose an herb, instead of a vitamin or homeopathic, or vice versa.
  • When would I choose a single herb or an herbal combination or formula?

Recurrence Vertebrae Subluxations
Are a Sign Of Nutrient Deficiencies

When more than 3-7 chiropractic adjustments are required to correct a subluxation of a vertebrae, this indicates the nutrients required to hold the vertebrae in place after adjustment are lacking, unless subluxation is due to a severe, accidental injury or a result of surgery.

    Ask Your Toughest Questions

    VITAMIN DEFICIENCY TESTING

    • My medical and chiropractic exams and tests are normal, so I have ruled out disease and subluxation as causes for my symptoms. How can I be nutritionally tested to identify the vitamin deficiencies causing my symptoms?
    • My chiropractic examinations indicated that I do have subluxations causing some or all of my symptoms; however, after many adjustments and some relief, my vertebrae(s) will not hold its position, so I keep needing more adjustments. How can I be nutritionally tested to find out what nutrients my body requires to hold my bones in place after chiropractic adjustments? (Note: When more than 3-7 chiropractic adjustments are required to correct a subluxation of a vertebrae, this indicates the nutrients required to hold the vertebrae in place after adjustment are lacking.)
    • After about three months of taking supplements, they don't seem to help me like they did the first three months. What do I really need to take?
    • I have been taking supplements for a while, but not really sure if they are doing me any good? How can I test to see if I really need them.
    • I have been taking supplements because everyone (friends, family, books, media) tells me the body needs so many millograms of this Vitamin or that Vitamin, but what do I really need? What if I have enough of this vitamin and by taking it, I get too much. I am concerned about getting too much, as well as not enough of what I need.
    • Why do my symptoms resurface when I stop taking some vitamins? How can I be tested for what is really causing my nutritional symptoms?
    • My physician said the only supplement people need to take is calcium? Yet, I have been reading that there are different types of calcium and complications from taking too much calcium. How can I be tested for whether I need calcium, how much and which type of calcium I need?
    • I have osteoporosis and my physician prescribed calcium, but I have been reading that calcium is not the only mineral (or vitamin, or cause) for osteoporosis. How can I be tested for the nutrients I am lacking that has caused my osteoporosis?
    • I have a hormone (female/male) imbalance, hypothyroid, adrenal hormone weakness, etc. How can I be tested to see what nutrients I need to help me balance my hormones, naturally?
    • I have a slow or fast metabolism, weight gain or loss, food cravings, I am hungry all the time, temperature (always cold or hot), etc. How can I test for and improve my metabolism?
    • Sports Nutrition? Exercise Wearing on Body?
    • I have a lot of energy, but not endurance?
    • What nutrients do I require to strengthen and/or maintain a strong musculoskeletal system to support my level of activity or training.
    • I am concerned that my diet and food supplements are not supporting my athletic activity or training.
    • I am also concerned about the ingredients in sports drinks - sugar, sodium chloride, artifical flavors, synthetic and isolated vitamins and minerals. What are healthier sports drinks?
    • Energy? I tire easily. I feel tired even after a good night's sleep. What tests will help me identify what I need to produce more energy?
